Accountant in Lee, Massachusetts

Description We are seeking an Accountant to join our team in Lee, Massachusetts. As an Accountant, your primary responsibilities will revolve around managing and executing accounting functions, particularly in the area of Accounts Payable. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity and will be crucial in maintaining the financial health and transparency of our operations in the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

• Execute accounts payable processes, ensuring the prompt and accurate execution of payments.

• Process and reconcile vendor invoices efficiently to avoid discrepancies.

• Utilize accounting software systems and SAP to manage financial transactions and records.

• Maintain comprehensive vendor files to ensure easy access and reference.

• Assist in month-end closing activities, contributing to the accurate representation of the company’s financial position.

• Monitor customer accounts closely, taking necessary actions to address any issues.

• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.

• Use your Accounts Payable (AP) skills to improve and streamline payment processes.

• Reconcile vendor statements to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Leverage your strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements • Must possess proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions is required

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary

• Familiarity with SAP is essential

• Ability to Process Vendor Invoices is required

• Must be able to Reconcile Vendor Statements
