Robert Half is working with a well-respected manufacturing company to find an Accountant who can lead an accounting department with an attention to detail. This role is responsible for day-to-day accounting activities of the company, including helping with finalizing the implementation of a new ERP and designing new processes. The right candidate will be a crucial part of leading the department forward and helping to determine its future. This is a great opportunity to grow with a stable company.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper record-keeping of company finances

• Track and evaluate day-to-day financial activities

• Develop and implement systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information

• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions

• Conduct account, balance sheet, and bank reconciliations

• Manage general ledger and journal entries

• Oversee month-end close processes

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

• Regularly communicate the financial status to appropriate leadership

• Uphold the highest level of confidentiality in all financial matters.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in accounting or finance.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

• Familiarity with financial regulations and standards.
