Description Robert Half is hiring for an Accountant with one of our leading manufacturing clients based in Maryville, TN, dedicated to providing high-quality products to its customers.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Maryville, TN. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment and possess strong proficiency in SAP, as well as advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs. This position will be responsible for providing assistance during month-end close procedures, posting journal entries, and supporting various accounting functions under the guidance of the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities:

Assist in month-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data.

Utilize SAP and MS Excel to analyze financial information and generate reports as needed.

Support the Accounting Manager in various ad hoc projects and initiatives.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in SAP and advanced MS Excel skills (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs).

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

CPA or CPA candidate (preferred but not required).
