Accountant in Midland, Texas

Description We are seeking an Accountant to join our team based in Midland, Texas. This role will focus on various accounting operations within the industry. The Accountant will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining the general ledger and AP sub-ledger, along with other accounting functions. This is a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and apply basic accounting principles, including Dr’s and Cr’s.

• Process invoices accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain and manage the general ledger and AP sub-ledger.

• Use accounting software systems, such as WolfePak and ADP – Financial Services, for various accounting functions.

• Implement ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning for effective accounting operations.

• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).

• Conduct auditing and maintain balance sheet account.

• Ensure accuracy in accounting entries.

• Solve accounting problems and organize accounting operations.

• Understand and apply accounting procedures for full cycle accounting.

• Maintain ledger accounting and subledger accounting.

• Code invoices accurately and efficiently. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP – Financial Services

• Knowledge in Cl Programming

• Experience with Concur

• Understanding of ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning

• Capability to handle Accounting Functions

• Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Competency in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Auditing

• Familiarity with Balance Sheet Account

• Proficiency in WolfePak

• Experience with General Ledger

• Ability to handle Accounting Entries

• Knowledge of Accounting operations

• Understanding of Accounting Principles
