Accountant in Phoenix, Arizona

Description We are in search of a meticulous Credit Clerk to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role primarily entails managing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. This is a short-term contract position within the accounting industry, where you’ll be a crucial part of our team, helping with a sales and use tax cleanup project.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Maintain and update customer credit records, ensuring all information is current and precise

• Address and resolve customer credit inquiries and issues effectively

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate actions for delinquent payments

• Utilize various accounting software systems for efficient processing of tasks

• Leverage your experience with TX filings to assist in our tax cleanup project

• Manage accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable

• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in all credit related matters

• Participate in budget processes and ERP solutions to optimize resource planning

• Utilize Great Plains (GPAC) and ADP – Financial Services for various accounting tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP – Financial Services

• Familiarity with ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning

• Knowledge of ERP Solutions

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC)

• Ability to handle Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Auditing skills

• Familiarity with Budget Processes
