Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accountant in the manufacturing industry, located in Rialto, California. As an Accountant, you will be utilizing your skills in various accounting software systems and Enterprise Resource Planning to perform full-cycle accounting duties. Your responsibilities will also include processing various financial transactions and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Handle full-cycle accounting tasks within the company

• Apply knowledge of GAAP principles in everyday tasks

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Conduct payroll operations and keep accurate records

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial transparency

• Balance the company’s balance sheet

• Generate timely and accurate financial statements

• Calculate depreciation and amortization

• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting functions

• Ensure the month-end close process is completed efficiently and accurately.

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant in the Manufacturing industry

• Proficient in handling all Accounting Functions

• Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Ability to handle Balance Sheet Account effectively

• Experience with ADP – Payroll management system

• Skilled in Bank Reconciliations

• Understanding of Depreciation and Amortization accounting principles

• Experience in Month End Close procedures

• Capable of Financial Statement Preparation

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks and other Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning systems is preferred

• Should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Must be capable of working independently or as part of a team

• Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
