We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accountant in Saint Paul, Minnesota. As an Accountant, you will be tasked with assisting in year-end procedures, bank reconciliations, and training in new processes. This role is pivotal in maintaining the financial health and procedures of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in year-end procedures and clean-up to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Conduct thorough bank reconciliations on a monthly basis

• Handle year-end certifications and verifications including but not limited to inventory, petty cash, and asset checks

• Accurately input journal entries into the accounting system

• Develop and train personnel on new processes for bank reconciliations

• Use Accounting Software Systems and ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning for various accounting functions

• Handle tasks related to Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Conduct auditing and Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation

• Perform Bank Account Reconciliation and other Bank Reconciliations as required.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role

• Proficiency in accounting software systems

• Familiarity with ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning

• Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions

• Experience in handling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

• Knowledge and experience in auditing

• Ability to manage balance sheet accounts

• Proficiency in account reconciliation

• Experience in balance sheet reconciliation

• Experience in bank account reconciliation

• Proficiency in conducting bank reconciliations
