Accountant in San Francisco, California

Description

We are in search of an Accountant for our team located in San Francisco, California. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. As an Accountant, you would be responsible for managing financial records, reconciling transactions, and supporting financial management with various projects. This job primarily involves working with various accounting software systems and other tasks related to accounting functions, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and auditing.

Responsibilities:

• Reconciliation of transactions across various systems such as the proprietary royalty accounting system, BILL, and NetSuite.

• Accountable for the preparation of monthly journal entries including, but not limited to, expense accruals and prepaid expenses.

• Perform reconciliations of bank, credit card, and general ledgers.

• Assist in enhancing accounting procedures and contributing to special projects under the supervision of senior financial management.

• Collaborate with other Finance department employees and operational employees to support overall department goals and objectives.

• Responsible for supporting the annual audit and tax return preparation process.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Balance Sheet Account reviews and adjustments as required.

• Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) operations.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP – Financial Services

• Competency in Cl Programming

• Experience with Netsuite

• Understanding of ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to perform all Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of Auditing procedures

• Ability to manage Balance Sheet Accounts
