A Brief Overview The accountant revises the daily transactions processed by the Business Unit or Department; verifies accounting information monitors and reconciles the general ledger accounts of the department.What You’ll Need to Succeed · Analyzes and performs accounting entries on Oracle.· Reviews and ensures accuracy of accounting entries process through batch posting.· Reviews and ensures balances outstanding on In-transit accounts are investigated and processed within 2 days.· Attending internal client inquiries, including transactions investigations.· Analyzes records of financial transactions to determine accuracy and completeness of entries.· Monitors accounts daily movements and refers to management when appropriate.· Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures· Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in accounting entries, documents, and reports.· Contributes to the Department team effort, achieving additional results as needed.· Develops and runs special projects as requested by supervisor.What You’ll Need:The incumbent must have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position or banking related experience or a Business Administration Bachelor’s degree, major in Accounting or Finance.
