Accountant in Sunbury, Pennsylvania

Klacik & Associates, P.C. is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Pennsylvania offices. The senior accountant will be responsible for all facets of our audit and tax engagements. Our audit engagements range from local, county and state clientele with the possibility of travel required. We are a growing, full-service accounting firm with offices located in Shamokin and Sunbury, Pennsylvania and Baltimore, Maryland. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
• Prepare annual tax returns for all types of business entities and individuals
• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
• Prepare financial reports
• Assist the accounting manager in preparing documents

?Qualifications:

• 2+ years of public accounting experience
• Exceptional knowledge of audit, tax, consulting, finance, and fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, and tax return software
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Highly motivated self-starter
• Excellent communication skills
