Accountant in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Description We are in search of an Accountant who will be an integral part of our team. This role is situated within the financial industry and is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74135, United States. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks encompassing general ledger management, journal entries, budget forecasting, and using accounting software systems. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize accounting software systems like Netsuite and ADP for financial services.

• Maintain and manage general ledger entries.

• Conduct budget forecasting to assist in financial planning.

• Perform accounting functions including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Develop and maintain balance sheet accounts.

• Conduct auditing tasks to ensure financial compliance.

• Use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for efficient business process management.

• Engage in non-profit accounting and grant accounting tasks when required.

• Liaise with the CFO for training and reporting.

• Work collaboratively within a team of five people in the accounting department. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP – Financial Services

• Knowledge of Cl Programming

• Familiarity with Concur

• Understanding of ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to perform diverse Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Auditing

• Understanding of Balance Sheet Account

• Experience with Fund Accounting – Non-Profit

• Knowledge of Non-profit Accounting

• Experience in Grant Accounting
