Robert Half is recruiting a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant for our Hospitality client located in the heart of Corona, CA. In this role, you will work closely with an accounting team to support the day to day financial operations and ensure accuracy in all accounting processes. This is an onsite, contract position with an excellent opportunity to apply your accounting expertise in a dynamic workplace.

Responsibilities:

Accounting and Bookkeeping:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

• Prepare comprehensive financial statements.

• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Accurately process AP/AR transactions and journal entries.

• Payroll & Bank Reconciliations: Manage payroll processes and execute bank reconciliations.

• Month-End and Year-End Closing: Support closing processes with accuracy and attention to detail.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification preferred but not required.

Experience:

• Minimum 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, including: General ledger entries Bank reconciliations Journal entries

• Accounts payable (AP): 3 way match, check runs, coding expenses, pre-paid expenses, accruals

• Accounts receivable (AR): Billing, cash application, credit/debit memos, in house collections

• Inventory management

• Financial Reporting

• Hands-on expertise with accounting software

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (vlookups and pivot tables required).

• Familiarity with and ability to efficiently operate accounting software.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal abilities to support collaboration with a diverse team and client base.
