JOB OVERVIEW:The Accounting and HR Assistant is responsible for assisting the Accounting Supervisor with suppliers invoice processing, ensuring that invoices are posted correctly, and payments are submitted on time. Does weekly and monthly reporting for corporate office. Accounting and HR Assistant also supports HR Manager as payroll backup. Works with customer service and shipping to solve shipping issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Processes invoices and ensures merchandise to be paid was received.
- Runs weekly Sales and Orders Report.
- Does monthly reports for Accounting purposes.
- Assists HR Manager with weekly payroll.
- Answers payment questions to vendors.
- Verifies and reports hiring and payroll information to government agencies.
- Handles customers shipping claims.
- Delivers mail correspondence internally.
- Assists employees with administrative requests such as verifications of employment.
- Must know how to use EXCEL and POWERPOINT

ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Properly dispose of paper and materials for recycle.
- Reduce waste/scrap of paper and materials using counts needed and few extras.
- Reduce use of printed materials by providing online documentation and laminated examples.
- Emergency Evacuation Plan knowledge and practice.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent, college preferred.
- HR, Payroll, and Accounting experience.
- 1-year prior experience in similar setting
- English, bilingual preferred.
- Honest, flexible, hardworking, excellent communication skills (written and verbal) must be discreet with confidential information, able to work independently, or in a team environment.
- Valid drivers license.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
