Yes, our roots are in car-park management, however, we’re so much more – expanding into new verticals to disrupt industry norms and elevate our sector with technology-led solutions that deliver measurable business impact for our clients, as well as improve the public’s everyday experience of travel and parking.PositionWe are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our established team and be responsible for helping with maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial reports, maintaining documents and records to ensure all files are kept up to date.Key Responsibilities and Duties:·To post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded·To update accounts receivable and issue invoices·To update accounts payable and perform reconciliations·To reconcile general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information·To assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements·To assist with processing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned·To update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed·To prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports·To assist finance team in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings·To provide administrative support as requiredRequirementsWho you are·Experienced working in an accounts or finance role·An accounting qualification is desirable but not essential·Knowledge of NetSuite accounting system is desirable·Excellent analytical and numerical skills. Ability to use statistical and other data to produce reports and form decisions·Ability to process detailed information effectively and consistently·Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently, exercising a high degree of autonomyAgena ValuesWe believe that the way we do business is as important as the business that we do.
