Role details:Salary: £50,000 – £55,000
Hours: 37.5 hours Per Week
Working pattern: Monday to Friday
Location: Barnsley, S71 3LJWhat you’ll do:Your key accountabilities will include:

• To ensure that all outputs required from the AP departments are produced 100% completely, accurately and within time scales
• Review accounts payable processes as part of a programme of continuous improvement
• Management, development and coaching of the AP team – 8 team members
• Ensuring system robustness and a stable platform is maintained to accurately run the AP functions and that any anomalies are identified, corrected or reported
• Payment processing, management & control
• Maintain ledgers over different geographies and currencies. – circa £250m
• Production of management information / ledger reports for the wider Gist finance function
• To work with internal and external audit to ensure audit protocols are maintained

Who you are:Your skills and experience will include:

• At least to AAT full qualification
• Able to work on own initiative
• Track record of managing accounts payable department
• Experience of operating a major accounts payable package, SAP Experience preferable
• Line Management experience – a good people manager
• Interpretation of financial data
• Analytical thinker / Excellent PC skills
• Good communicator
• Strong organisational skills
• Compliance & control mind-set
