Agri Food Sales & Marketing Executive- Uganda

The role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented, aggressive and market driven individual to develop and increase company revenue by identifying profitable new business opportunities and developing long-term business growth strategies in Uganda
The key responsibilities of the right candidate will include:
- Coordinate Agri & Food sales activities within Uganda
- Development and deployment of Agri & Food services in Uganda
- Meet own sales, revenue and operational profit (OP) targets
- Business Development: visit prospects or customers to increase sales.
- Develop weekly sales plans and track implementation using SalesForce
- Prepare quotations and convert them into Sales
- Compile weekly sales reports for review with EAF Sales & Marketing Manager & Agri, Food & Trade Manager using SalesForce
- Ensure consistence application of all relevant policies and procedures Sales Process.
- Ensure consistent tracking of potential or advertised tenders and support preparation of responses.
- Organize and follow-up all Agri-Food operations, performs operations himself/herself when possible.
- Mid-term objective: develop sales and build a performant Agri-Food team.
- Make sales presentations and technical product demonstrations directly to key decision makers and end users, accountable for reports may including feedback regarding new business opportunities, market intelligence and other sales development issues as requested..

Requirements:
- Age: above 30 years or 5 years working experience.
- 2 years services sales experience preferably in TIC.
- Agri & Food related disciplines (Horticulture, Food Science, Analytical Chemistry; Biochemistry; Agriculture; Agricultural Engineering; Agronomy; Fisheries) Diploma/ Higher Diploma/ Bachelors Degree
- Good language skills
- Good reporting skills.
- Good customer relationship management,
- Understanding of Uganda legislation, regulations, requirements, and reference sources, market testing needs, standards, certification; Agrifarm inspections; GlobalGap; RFA; testing protocols, ISO 17025, ISO 17020, ISO 17065, ISO 17021
