At Eni, we are looking for an Agri Hub Production Coordinator (Tolling Plant) within Eni Natural Energies Côte d’Ivoire S.A. in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. You will supervise the activities of the Agri Hub Tolling Plant, specializing in vegetable oil extraction, and manage the quality control of incoming and outgoing products. The role involves ensuring the control of batches of oilseeds at the intake and vegetable oil at the output, while maintaining quality standards and ensuring smooth communication with counterparts.

Main responsibilities:

• Supervise the operations of the vegetable oil extraction plant under tolling agreement.
• Ensure the control of incoming raw materials (oilseeds) and outgoing products (vegetable oil).
• Guarantee the necessary quality controls to maintain production standards.
• Produce daily reports on plant activities and ensure smooth communication with counterparts.
• Oversee production operations and ensure compliance with processes.
• Manage inventories of raw materials and finished products.
• Coordinate with raw material suppliers to ensure the steady flow of oilseeds in accordance with the plant’s production schedule and avoid disruptions due to material shortages or delays.
• Prevent bottlenecks in seed reception by ensuring the delivery schedule aligns with the plant’s capacity to process, thus avoiding any issues related to overstocking or insufficient raw materials.
• Implement cost-effective solutions to optimize production processes.
• Collaborate with other plant departments to create coordinated plans aimed at improving production.
• Lead and document all meetings and workshops related to vegetable oil extraction.
• Ensure safety and compliance with safety guidelines throughout the production process.
• Train and inform external partners (e.g., raw material suppliers) about the production process requirements.
• Provide training and updates to ENE Côte d’Ivoire staff on production management requirements.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by management.

Skills and experience required: 

• Degree in production management, engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a similar role in vegetable oil production or agro-industry.
• Proven track record in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of vegetable oil production processes and quality standards.
• Experience in managing plant operations and supervising teams.
• Ability to creatively solve problems and optimize production processes.
• Knowledge of agricultural and agro-industrial systems.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in French, with a good understanding of technical English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English, including a good understanding of technical English.
