AI Engineer – Telecom, Cloud & Network Engineering

Hungary (Hybrid)

As an AI Engineer, you will design and build AI-driven solutions to optimize and automate network operations. You’ll leverage technologies like LLMs and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to extract insights from complex data, enhance diagnostics, and drive intelligent decision-making. Your work will span network testing, anomaly detection, performance prediction, and auto-remediation. Collaborating closely with engineering, operations, and SRE teams, you’ll ensure seamless integration and adoption of AI across workflows.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

AI-Powered E2E Integration & Verification

• Develop AI-driven test automation frameworks for network verification & validation.
• Implement machine learning models for anomaly detection, fault diagnostics, and performance optimization.
• Use LLMs & RAG for automated knowledge retrieval from network logs, documentation, and incident reports.
• Automate test case planning, execution, and reporting using AI/ML techniques.

AI for Network Operations & Cloud Optimization

• Deploy AI-driven resource allocation, predictive maintenance, and capacity planning models.
• Build LLM-powered assistants for automated troubleshooting and intelligent recommendations.
• Implement RAG-based AI solutions to enhance security monitoring and incident response in telecom networks.
• Optimize cloud-based network solutions using AI-driven observability and forecasting.

AI-Driven Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

• Develop AI models for proactive monitoring, root cause analysis, and auto-remediation of network incidents.
• Implement LLM-based chatbots to support network operations and incident management teams.
• Enhance self-healing capabilities in networks through AI-powered automation.
• Apply multi-agent AI systems to improve autonomous network resilience.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in AI, ML, or Data Science with potential exposure to telecom, cloud, and network engineering.
• Expertise in AI/ML, LLMs, RAG frameworks, and intelligent data retrieval.
• Hands-on experience with Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, LangChain, Hugging Face, and vector databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)/ Openshift/ Kubernetes/Helm and MLOps tools.
• Understanding of telecom networks (5G, 4G, SDN, NFV, OSS/BSS), DevOps, and automation considered as a plus.
