Air Logistics Customer Care Manager

Your ability to lead team of motivated and empowered individuals to help customers navigate through market dynamics to promote business retention and growth and the the success of the Customer Care team. This role will work closely with the Area Air Logistics Manager to ensure the overall financial health, management of resource allocation and the experience of both the employee and customer of the Toronto CCL are met

How you create impact

• Provide leadership to your CCL team to support the growth of the product and the people
• Manage all people related matters with the support of Area Customer Care Manager and assist with branch activities to enhance the employee and customer experience
• Keep all stakeholders informed on product and Buisness Unit initiatives that will impact processes, people and/or customers
• Ensure complete compliance with all QSHE and legal requirements that promote a healthy and safe work environment and promote our brand to employees and customers
• Work closely with the Business Development team to support the retention and growth of business
• Have a clear understanding of the Air Logistics Strategy and identify potential customers and markets and develop products and services based on their needs
• Actively manage customer retention and growth and encourage the CCR team to be actively up-selling customers
• Conduct regular team meetings to share information, promote feedback, drive engagement,collaboratively develop learning and development opportunities
• Understand the feedback from employee surveys and develop action plans to drive employee satisfaction for your CCL team
• P&L ownership and management for Toronto CCL and maximize profitability of the product in the region
• Work closely with Area Customer Care Manager to dentity cost savings opportunities, identify process and procedural improvements

What we would like you to bring

• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in similar role from Freight Forwarding Industry
• Proven experience in leading a team of 10+ direct reportees
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective client interactions and collaboration with internal teams
• Ability to analyze account performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Proven experience in negotiating contracts, project managemnt and knowledge on Dangerous Goods shipments
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
