Title: Air Ocean Freight Forwarder
Location: Dublin 9
Terms: Full-time, permanent, site-based
Package: Up to €60,000 basic depending on experience + BenefitsA long-established, North Dublin based independent freight forwarder now wish to hire an experienced Multimodal Freight Forwarder. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will ensure goods are transported in the safest, most efficient and cost-effective way. You will manage the whole freight forwarding process from start to finish, ensuring that all transport bookings and documents are prepared from the point of origin to destination.As an experienced Freight Forwarder you will organise the best means of transporting goods using all modes of air, rail, road and sea as required, recording all details in Cargowise and ensuring that the process runs smoothly reducing the risk of unforeseen costs or delays.Areas’s of Key Accountability:

• Freight Operations
• Customer Service
• Supporting Sales, Marketing & Business Development
• Financial

A detailed job description will be provided to interested candidates who meet the minimum requirements below;

• Minimum of 3 years multi-modal operations experience.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs clearance, and import / export documentation.
• Good FMS exposure ideally with experience of Cargowise.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.

A five-year background check is required for Aviation Security Clearance. This includes all periods of employment and education regardless of duration or nature. A complete set of references covering exact dates spanning the last 5 years must be achieved.
