Contract Type: Full-Time, PermanentAbout the RoleA dynamic and dedicated Alternative Provision Manager is sought by a forward-thinking secondary mainstream school in Swindon. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate professional to join our team and lead the development and management of our alternative provision programs. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all students, particularly those who require alternative educational pathways, receive the support and opportunities they need to succeed.Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective alternative provision strategies to support students with diverse educational needs.
• Oversee the daily operations of the alternative provision programs, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, external agencies, and other stakeholders to identify and address students’ individual needs.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of alternative provision programs, making data-driven decisions to enhance student outcomes.
• Provide leadership and professional development for staff involved in alternative provision.
• Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a strong background in education and a deep understanding of alternative provision. They will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate both students and staff. Experience in working with students with special educational needs and a commitment to fostering an inclusive educational environment are essential.Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Education or a related field.
• Relevant teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) is desirable.
• Proven experience in managing or coordinating alternative provision within an educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of current educational policies and practices related to alternative provision.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
