Accenture is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tech Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Level 9 Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support for business-critical applications and cloud-based solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation, performance, and reliability of applications and services.
This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in MSSQL, Windows-based environments, and application support, combined with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L2/L3 level technical support for enterprise applications across production and non-production environments.
  • Monitor and maintain Windows Services, IIS-hosted applications, and scheduled jobs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MSSQL databases, application performance, and system errors.
  • Analyse logs and diagnostics, including Elasticsearch/Kibana dashboards, to identify root causes.
  • Manage Windows Firewall configurations and related security settings as per application requirements.
  • Automate routine support tasks using PowerShell scripts and batch files.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams for incident resolution and enhancements.
  • Participate in change, incident, and problem management processes as per ITIL best practices.
  • Document support procedures, known error databases, and SOPs for knowledge sharing.
  • Provide on-call support and assist during production deployments and patching activities.

Required Technical Skills:

  • MSSQL (T-SQL, performance tuning, job monitoring, backups & restores)
  • Application Support (IIS-hosted apps, log analysis, service health monitoring)
  • Windows Services (start/stop, recovery, dependency management)
  • Elasticsearch/Kibana (log search, indexing issues, basic query creation)
  • Windows Firewall (port management, inbound/outbound rule configuration)
  • Basic Troubleshooting (network, OS-level issues, application performance)
  • PowerShell (automation scripts, log parsing, system monitoring)

Required Technical Skills:

  • Experience supporting applications and infrastructure in on-premises Windows environments.
  • Familiarity with on-prem deployment tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, batch scripting, task scheduler).
  • Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and networking fundamentals in enterprise environments.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum or ITIL-aligned support frameworks.
  • ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
