The role involves analyzing and implementing network infrastructure solutions, establishing best practices, and engaging with service providers. 

What you’ll be doing

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Network Infrastructure technical requirement analysis and solutioning capabilities
• Design, implement, and manage the network infrastructure to ensure stable and secure connectivity 
• Guidelines and best practices for Network Infrastructure and Distributed IT solutions
• Configure and optimize network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls
• Operations support and monitoring tools to track performance and availability
• Document network infrastructure architecture, processes, and procedures
• Implement security measures to safeguard the network from external and internal threats
• Continuously monitor network performance and make proactive improvements
• Engage with service providers to provide and optimize existing and new connectivity services and digital workplace
• Network support in onboarding public cloud services, migration of on-premises applications and data to the cloud and reengineering of existing services. 

What you’ll need to succeed

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience in designing and managing complex networks
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, and cybersecurity
• Ability to quickly troubleshoot network issues and provide technical support
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team
• Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP are a plus
• Certifications: Certifications in IT Service Management (e.g., ITIL Foundation) are highly desirable
• Experience: Proven experience in a similar role 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Adaptable to evolving technologies and industry best practice

Technical Proficiency:

• Network Infrastructure: Strong understanding of network infrastructure
• Cloud Services: Experience with onboarding public cloud services and migrating on-premises applications to the cloud

VDI and Software Distribution:

• Documentation and Process:
• Documentation Skills: Ability to document network infrastructure architecture, processes, and procedures
• Best Practices: Knowledge of guidelines and best practices for network infrastructure and distributed IT solutions

Operational Support:

• Monitoring Tools: Proficiency in using operations support and monitoring tools to track performance and availability

Communication and Collaboration: 

• Vendor Collaboration: Strong ability to engage with service providers for optimizing connectivity services
• Team Collaboration: Effective collaboration with internal teams for successful implementation and support.
