Area Manager-Agri-Fin-Dealer Funding(DF) -Sales

As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding the bank’s presence in the agricultural finance market. This role is crucial in driving business growth and establishing strong relationships with dealers and farmers. Your expertise and leadership will be key in achieving sales targets and maintaining the bank’s reputation in the agri-finance sector.

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, agriculture, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, with a successful track record in agri-finance or dealer funding.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of agricultural practices and the Indian agri-finance landscape is essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant sales/CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned area for business development.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A self-starter with a results-driven mindset and a passion for sales.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase dealer funding and agri-finance business.
  • Manage and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including dealers, farmers, and industry partners.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations, especially in credit and risk management.
  • Analyze sales data and provide regular reports to senior management, highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience and efficient loan processing.
  • Stay updated with agricultural industry developments and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Represent the bank at industry events and conferences, promoting the bank’s agri-finance offerings.
