Job description

As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for providing Account Management to clients across a number of contracts with regular travel between client sites.Key Responsibilities of an Area Manager:

• Ensure contracts are operating to specification by conducting site visits, conducting regular Health and Safety audits
• Retention of all existing contracts, ensuring protection of our margin
• Identification of new business opportunities to include both hard and soft services
• Create and maintain a profitable service delivery model for all contracts to include integration of bundled services where possible
• Operational project management of all new business contracts awarded
• Assume financial responsibility, in conjunction with the Operations Manager on the Profit & Loss account to include wages, equipment, consumables, etc.
• Provide leadership, guidance and direction to site teams
• Performance management and development of site teams in conjunction with HR
• Ensure the business sector is fully compliant with Industry Standards, relevant employment legislation, JLC requirements, ISO and Company policies and procedures
• Prioritise health and safety at all levels
• Communication with the Operations Support team regarding rostering of contracts, ensuring overtime is kept to an absolute minimum
• Conduct training, conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures
• Actively participate in Industry Awards

Essential Criteria of an Area Manager:

• Excellent communication and problem solving skills with extensive experience in client relationship management
• Excellent pc skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload
• A valid Visa enabling you to work in Ireland on a full-time basis
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
• Full Clean Driver’s Licence (a company-branded car will be provided as part of this role)
