Assistant Center Supervisor – Lone Oaks Farm – 24000001CA
Description
Duties/Responsibilities:
The Operations Supervisor 1 position is housed at The Clays at Lone Oaks Farm in Middleton, Tennessee. This is a full-time, non-exempt position responsible to The Clays Center Supervisor.
Duties Include:
- Responsible for the operation of the center when The Clays Center Supervisor is off site or not on the work schedule.
- Work with farm staff to secure needed equipment or supplies.
- Assist the Center Supervisor in training, supervising and scheduling part time employees for daily operation to include adjusting work schedules to insure adequate staffing depending on anticipated needs.
- Assume or reassign the role of any staff absent and/or unable to perform job functions.
- Assist in keeping The Clays facility clean and ready for guest to include restrooms, kitchen, pro shop and grounds.
- Assist in the supervision and maintenance of equipment to include training and planning for future expansion.
- Assist in coordinating events and landscape maintenance with other staff at Lone Oaks Farm.
- Special projects as assigned by The Clays Center Supervisor.
Minimum/Required Qualifications (include education experience, skills and abilities, licenses & certificates):
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Management and logistics experience.
- Knowledge of safety, range operations and range SOP’s.
- Ability to multi task and prioritize responsibilities.
- Proficient with office technology.
- Must have excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, written and communication skills.
- Ability to deliver and carry out directives efficiently.
- Must be hands on to be able to perform equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Must be able to work weekends and flexible hours.
Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
- Retail and public relations experience.
- Friendly and positive daily attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Desire to learn new skills and accept responsibility.
- Knowledge of firearms operations, safety, and range operations.
