Job Title: Assistant ManagerReporting to: Store ManagerDate of Issue: November 2024Hours of Work: 38 per weekPay: €28000 per annumThe RoleAn exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager has come up in Galway city BORN store. We are looking for someone who loves fashion and is used to working in a fast-paced retail environment. The ability to delegate effectively, manage a team, and work well under pressure is essential. Please see below for more detailsYou will be responsible for opening and closing the store. Your duties include handling operational procedures, assisting cashiers, providing customer service, supervising cleaning staff, setting alarms, and keeping the entry area clean and organised. Further responsibilities are outlined below:PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on all products offered, and teaming up with co-workers to provide excellent sales service
• Achieving KPI’s & outstanding customer experience
• Managing day to day running of department
• Demonstrate a hand on approach for all operational and commercial goals
• Maintains an awareness of all product knowledge, and current trends
• Support a store manager in managing and inspiring your team to be at their best

What are we looking for?

• At least 1 year of experience in a retail environment
• Experience managing a team effectively
• Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience
• Motivated to achieve great results because of one’s enthusiasm from interacting with customers and Burn’s products
• Task driven and self-motivated approach
• Flexible availability – including nights, weekends, and holidays
