You can expect to become involved in a range of exciting central midlands schemes across both the private and public sectors. Working with clients to include schools, residential developers, hospitals, retail outlets and leisure centres. Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with the PM team to agree and develop the client’s brief from inception to completion
  • Assisting the PM team to co-ordinate, manage and communicate with the client, project stakeholders and other appointed consultants
  • Assisting the PM team to prepare and issue reports
  • With the PM team assist with several typical project management functions to include Change Management and Co-ordination of the design process
  • Assisting the PM team and participate in, risk-, value- and opportunities management
  • Assisting with the facilitation of workshops attended by the client, stakeholders, and project team
  • Attend meetings with the client and stakeholders and prepare records or minutes of the meetings

About YouThis role will suit someone who is already currently working as a Graduate Project Manager within the Built Environment. You will work with clients and contractors to ensure smooth delivery of sustainable construction projects. With an inquisitive nature, you will be looking to play an integral role within our Project Management team in Nottingham.Key Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role in the construction environment
  • HNC, HND or a construction related degree with relevant experience
  • Member of a construction related professional body, such as RICS, CIOB, CIBSE, etc. – desirable
  • NEC Contract Experience
  • A comprehensive knowledge of building technology and construction principles
  • Have a good understanding of forms of building contract and experience of contract administration
  • Ability to control day to day programming and planning
  • Ability to monitor progress and expenditure of projects
  • Have a clear understanding of risk management including identification, management, mitigation and risk transfer
  • A good understanding of IT including Microsoft Word, Excel and Project
  • Bid writing and presentation skills
