Assistant Store Manager – SandyfordIf you are looking to be part of a fantastic retail business that has won awards for the best place to work, and who offer a lovely work life balance with every second weekend off, then keep reading!!My client with over 40 stores nationwide, are recruiting an Assistant Store Manager for their store in Sandyford, South Dublin.Fantastic Package & Benefits: Salary up to €45k may be negotiable but must reflect experience, 39-hour contract, Bonus Scheme, Discounted Health Insurance, Company Pension Contribution, Free Parking, Maternity Leave and Educational Assistant.The ideal candidate will come from a high-volume, high-turnover grocery, fashion, or non-food retailer, a strong people manager who always inspires and leads their team.You will come with excellent business/commercial acumen and a track record of achieving KPI’s and ensuring every customer receives top class service and product advice.Key Responsibilities for the job of Assistant Retail Manager
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the store
- Motivate the sales team to ensure that the stores KPI’s are consistently delivered
- Ensure that the store is commercially merchandised and visually appealing
- Provide customer feedback to the head office buying and merchandising teams
- Ensure staff are upselling and providing alternatives to increase sales
- Minimise stock loss and organise stocktakes
- Analyse sales reports and KPI’s and use the information to make commercial decisions
- Champion superior customer service in store
- Coach and develop a team on product knowledge, sales skills, and service
- Monitor on an ongoing basis staff attendance, timekeeping, and productivity
- Recruitment and training
- Cash handling, wages, and banking
- Monitor the store margin and profit and loss
- Health & Safety
