As a Design and Testing and Commissioning Engineer, you will be part of Operation Center in India (INOPC-PG), aiming to develop a global value chain, where key business activities, resources and expertise is shared across geographic boundaries to optimize value for Hitachi Energy customers across markets. It provides high quality engineering and commissioning support to Business Units and Center of Excellence across the world. This is an important step from Hitachi Energy’s Global Foot Print strategy. PG Operation Center Services are System design, Primary side design, Secondary side design, Sourcing, Installation and commissioning.

Your responsibilities

• Act as Design, Testing & commissioning engineer / lead for medium to high complex projects.
• In cooperation with our customers or representatives, will be responsible for the service, including installation supervision, commissioning and testing of our telecommunication systems tailored to the requirements of the global energy sector.
• You will put the telecommunication products and systems into service and test the full functionality following Hitachi Energy commissioning instructions.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) / Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
• Troubleshoot telecommunication network incidents and conduct corrective actions in cooperation with the responsible project manager.
• Release Service Reports and give feedback to project management and system engineering.
• Ensure completion of all Design, Testing & commissioning activities efficiently and cost effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Manages the commissioning activities to ensure quality, timely delivery within targeted costs.
• Ensures implementation design changes in commissioning and the production of Red Marked up and as built project documentation.
• Supports continuous improvement of project process/product/system design.

Your background

• Any Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• 5-7 Years of experience in Telecom Design, Testing & commissioning.
• Sound knowledge in various Telecom Products.
