Job DescriptionAn amazing opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director, Business Process and System Support for our site in Dunboyne, Co. Meath. The Business Process and System Support, working on behalf of Site Supply Chain Organization, is responsible for Designing, aligning and supporting SAP/COMET ERP processes with E2E Supply Chain Business Process framework, including Planning, Scheduling, Production Execution, Quality Management, Material Handling, and Master Data related.Bring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry out the following:

  • Establish operating standards which enable the across-site functions/organization to achieve and sustain reliable and sustainable business performance and metrics.
  • These responsibilities are carried out by developing a Business Process Management Framework, establishing a community of super users, closely cooperating with above site SCM/PE/QM organization and IT systems support to holistically maximize the use of technology based system capability (SAP) to support the business needs of the functions/organization.
  • Continuously improve and enhance business processes and benchmark against industry and functional best practices.
  • Design/Lead the sustainment of Business Process Framework & Standards (SCM CoE and Process Design)
  • Establish Knowledge of Best practices for business processes: SCOR Model (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Return, and Enablers); Act as SPOC with global Enterprise Solution organization by representing site
  • Lead, Deliver, and Collaborate with business community on SCM/Cross-functions Continuous Improvement – gathering feedback and best practices from both internal & external SME’s (including COMET SME’s and EPM Leads in Global Supply Chain Management) to enable SLT with analytical data for the effective business decision making
  • Develop, Align & Maintain ERP Master Data Management Process for all production control related systems and data elements, including New Product Introduction, RCA, RTPS, etc.
  • Lead and roll out SAP/COMET enhancement across site-wide business functions by acting as IT business partner to enhance business value via constantly looking for systems improvement opportunities
  • Networks with internal and external stakeholders and customers on a regular basis to generate innovative solutions to meet complex business requirements across all site business functions
  • Manages/Aligns SOPs to ensure compliance to internal and external regulatory standards

Systems

  • Business Process Owner for the following ERP/Production Planning & Control systems, as well as associated SAP/D3 interfaces:
  • Production Control Systems: DMS (Dispensing Management System), Bar Coding Systems, SAP/COMET/Qlik/SCEM/GLIMS – Production Control related Modules, MES etc.
  • KPI/Analytics system: SAP Business Warehouse, Spotfire
  • COMET Advance Planning & Scheduling Optimizers
  • Production Planning, Inventory Planning, LROP, Capacity Planning – RTMS
  • Develops Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS) for KPI’s and operational metric and/or master data reports
  • Ensures BI Reporting tools can support timely & accurately reporting by End Users Focused in continuous improvement by working closely with super user(s) and IT system support in developing business solutions in accordance to industry and functional best practices
  • Ensures solutions, changes and improvements on business process and system are complying to company and regulatory requirement
  • Administers SCM Production Control system access in accordance to compliance requirements
  • COMET/SAP and Darwin IT system life cycle management to ensure ALCOA and Computer system SDLC (System Development and Life Cycle) compliance
  • Performs as gatekeeper to determine and control the type and timing of system changes/interfaces to be implemented
  • Coordinate all business-related activities such as general communication, portfolio management, third Party process alignment, and alignment with Deployment Teams.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP and other business compliance regulations.
  • Coaching others by sharing your skill set and expertise. Identifying talent and coaching and nurturing them to develop and perform at their maximum potential

What skills you will need:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science/ Information related field
  • ERP systems implementation experience required
  • Lean Six Sigma, CEM certification is an advantage
  • APICS or CPIM, CSCP, CPM certification is preferred
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in Production Operations, Production Control, Network/Supply Planning, Procurement, Demand Management, ERP systems implementation

Preferred experience:

  • Pharmaceutical Manufacturing or FMCG
  • Managing with multiple planning (ERP) systems and interfaces, preferably 2 full-cycle projects
  • Metrics reporting environment
  • Compliance/Audit environment with Quality systems, cGMP, and regulatory inspections
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal – ability to work within all levels of the organisation from shopfloor staff to Site Leadership Team.
  • Strong analytical, priority management and communication skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to challenge the status quo with a continuous improvement mindset
  • A team player, who is able to work autonomously
  • Working knowledge of inventory and planning systems, distribution and logistics systems, purchasing systems, and interface to PE/QM systems
