A award-winning top AJ100 practice is seeking an Acitation Architect to join their friendly Aviation team in their London office.Job # 7020Job Title: Aviation Architect for an AJ100 firm in LondonThe right person must have

• ARB registration or overseas equivalent registration
• Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design membership
• Experience though all RIBA stages from concept and scheme design; right through to on-site construction completion and post-completion stages
• Completed feasibility studies for increased passenger capacity and improving passenger flow
• Designed and developed floor plan options; component design and wayfinding strategies
• Coordinating and delivering General Arrangement drawings and progress reports experience
• Developed BIM workflows to achieve land use plan with other teams and produce drawings, diagrams, land use schedule via a range of software programmes.
• Masterplan design experience and ability to review Geographic Information System shapefiles and; researching sustainable requirement in order to improve the current masterplan.

Skills and characteristics required:

• Proven technical experience within an aviation related project.
• Good design sensitivity and understanding of structural and technical details
• Transportation expertise in underground and over ground developments (linked to airports)
• Experience in coordination of multi-disciplinary teams and integration of architectural and structural works with the electrical, mechanical and signalling system for Rail architectural projects (linked to airports)
• Strong graphical ability
• Ability to communicate with clients, consultants and contractors in order to further develop suitable design solutions

Advanced Software skills required:

• Revit, Autodesk and Navisworks, SketchUp and Adobe Cs
• Rhinoceros and Grasshopper proficiency required.
• Bonus if you can use MicroStation and AECOsim Building designer, so please highlight this in your application
