An opportunity has arisen in our Aviation team in our London office.We are a friendly and supportive team and we work across diverse lines serving the aviation sector and its insurers.Our team is involved in the full spectrum of claims from the complex, high value work to the lower value and we are now seeking to grow our team.We are very proud of our prestigious client base, which includes some of the world’s biggest re/insurers, who entrust us with their most sensitive and complex matters. We would encourage you to talk to us about our approach to flexible working during the hiring process if you would like to explore this further.Role ResponsibilitySpecific responsibilities include, but are not restricted to undertaking the following:

  • Strong academically, enthusiastic and determined with a focus on generating commercial solutions to problems on behalf of clients;
  • A confident communicator with the ability to develop and manage relationships with clients and influence at all levels;
  • Able to demonstrate self-sufficiency, combined with an awareness of the boundaries of their own competence/authority; and
  • Team oriented and collegiate with a willingness to share knowledge with, and support, other members of the team.
  • Experience of participating in business development and marketing activities

The Ideal CandidateWe are seeking to hear from talented individuals with experience within the aviation sector. Ideally you will be a qualified solicitor, but we are also open to non-qualified lawyers who can demonstrate a keen interest in the area. The successful candidate will also be:

  • Demonstrating a level of knowledge and skill commensurate with experience and the expectations and needs of clients of the national team.
  • Maintain and develop technical knowledge across key areas of the practice;
  • Manage work flow and exhibit sound financial management;
  • Help build and enhance client relationships; and
  • Undertake marketing and business development activities
