AVP/VP, Specialist, Business Finance, Corporate Banking, Group Finance – (WD75904)

Business Function:

Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions – whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services.

Responsibilities:

• Support Group Head of Institutional Banking Group (IBG) in defining, communicating and executing IBG strategy
• Perform market research including macro trend assessment, market scoping and competitor analysis
• Partner with IBG market, segment and industry team to understand the business strategy, landscape, drivers and performance
• Organise and drive IBG-wide initiatives together with relevant Business Unit and Support Unit partners
• Lead in the business performance measurement of IBG through the Scorecard exercise
• Support IBG Group Head’s internal and external engagements and presentations, and any ad-hoc tasks within the scope of IBG Strategy & Planning
• MIS reporting, including budgeting, forward-looking forecasting, close partnership with GFPA to support management reviews and disclosure

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics preferred
• 10 years of relevant work experience. Prior IBG experience will be a plus
• Strong Powerpoint and Excel skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability towork quickly and independently under time pressure
• Analytical and problem solving abilities
• Sound understanding of Economics, and the Banking and Financial Services industry
