An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Banking & Finance Paralegal to join a dynamic and growing law firm based in London.The Firm:Known for its entrepreneurial approach and commitment to excellence, this firm is seeking a skilled individual to support its highly regarded Banking & Finance team.About the Role & Team:This role involves working within a busy team primarily focused on lender-side finance matters, with additional exposure to borrower transactions. The successful candidate will work closely with senior team members and contribute to a wide range of complex and high-profile deals.The firm’s banking clients range from challenger banks, bridging lenders and development funders to well-known high-street banks and leading international investment banks.Working on behalf of domestic and international lenders, borrowers and investors, they deliver straightforward advice.Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation, review, and management of finance documentation.
- Supporting the team on conditions precedent, completions, and post-completion matters.
- Conducting legal research and drafting reports for fee earners.
- Managing client communications and liaising with lenders and borrowers.
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while maintaining meticulous records.
About You:The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience working in the banking department of a law firm (essential).
- A strong background in lender-side finance work; experience with borrower matters is an advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- A proactive and collaborative attitude, ready to contribute to a fast-paced team.
