About Our Client: We are partnering with a leading law firm known for its expertise in advising a diverse range of lenders and borrowers on syndicated and bilateral financing transactions. This firm represents all major UK clearing banks, as well as a growing number of European banks and borrowers, covering a broad spectrum of financing solutions including acquisition finance, real estate finance, social housing, education finance, and general corporate lending.The Role: Our client is seeking a talented Banking and Finance Lawyer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a generalist background in banking and finance, with particular expertise in general corporate lending and real estate finance transactions within English and/or Northern Irish law.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on various financing transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering tailored legal solutions to meet their needs.
- Contribute to high-value financing transactions across the UK.
- Engage in business development initiatives to expand the firm’s client base and market presence.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the firm’s global network to ensure a cohesive service delivery.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified solicitor with experience in a commercial law firm in Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, or Ireland.
- Strong technical background in banking and finance, especially in corporate lending and real estate transactions.
- Commercially savvy and enthusiastic about business development.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with a strong client-focused approach.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
