Job DescriptionBIM Technician – Dublin 15 (M&E Building Services) Our client is an innovative and progressive mechanical and electrical engineering consultancy with a reputation for designing high-quality, energy efficient and low carbon buildings projects for both the Public and Private sector, projects include Educational, Government buildings including museums, Commercial Mixed use , Hotel & Leisure and Residential.The position would suit an experienced, motivated and adaptable TechnicianSuitable Applicants will have:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in modelling mechanical and electrical systems. within an engineering consultancy or main contractor.
• Proficient in BIM software including Revit MEP and Navisworks.
• Competent in managing federated models within Navisworks, performing clash detection analysis and producing reports.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and organisation skills.

Duties of the role include:

• Adhere to BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria.
• Execute Mechanical & Electrical modelling and co-ordination using Revit software and producing 2D outputs.
• Collaborate with M&E Design Engineers, BIM Manager and Project Manager.
• Perform clash detection and resolve clashes using Revit / Navisworks.
• Engage in design team meetings and reviews.
• Adhere to ISO Procedures.
