Your role
We’re currently seeking brand ambassadors in Regina, Saskatchewan, who will support the Marketing & Communications team in organizing and hosting Radio-Canada brand activations and community events and help forge strong emotional connections with our audience.
As ambassador, your main role will be to provide support for all marketing and communications activities, both in-house and off-site. The list of key tasks in this job posting is not exhaustive and may be adjusted when candidates are hired.

Key tasks:
- Support the team in developing and operationalizing outreach activities and partnerships:
- Assist the senior officer with project planning and execution.
- Co-ordinate project logistics.
- Guide programming and technical teams in developing specials and remotes in connection with outreach activities and partnerships.
- Take part in off-site activities to promote Radio-Canada, primarily to a French-speaking audience:
- Prepare, transport and set up equipment on the site.
- Hand out promotional material.
- Interact with participants and passers-by, providing them with information about the Corporation and its programming. A solid command of English is essential so that you can also engage with English-speaking attendees during the event.
- Create a memorable experience for Canadians to connect them with the brand.
- Analyze the results of the activities by producing reports and compiling statistics on audience and staff comments and feedback.
- Create databases and correct or update their content.
- Keep records and archives about programs, outreach experiences and partnerships, including bios and photographic materials.
- Field inquiries, find the requested information and respond to audience and staff comments and feedback.
Please note that these are part-time on-call positions. Candidates may be included in an on-call talent pool for future assignments.
What you bring:
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two (2) years of related experience that demonstrates excellent communications, interpersonal, organizational and writing skills
Skills:
- Energy and enthusiasm
- Ability to be resourceful, proactive and trustworthy
- Interpersonal skills and comfort interacting with people of all ages
- Fluently bilingual: French and English
- Valid driver’s licence in the province
- Ability to travel across Saskatchewan
Nice to have:
- Experience as an audience wrangler
- Knowledge or education in marketing communications, sales, theatre, film studies or any other specialization related to the duties described above
- Knowledge of the media environment and the public broadcaster’s competitive advantages (different mandate from that of private broadcasters)
