Join our team to find a purpose-driven career, an inclusive culture, and robust benefits to support your life while you’re working to help others.Position OverviewThe Brand Manager, Northern Europe will be primarily responsible for supporting the development and implementation of brand strategy and tactics across the UK, Ireland and Nordic countries, for current and future tests.The main function of this role will be to support regional brand planning, reporting to the Sr, Marketing Manager Northern Europe and working closely with relevant cross functional and country leads to plan, develop and deliver excellent and timely content, materials and programs in line with brand strategy.The Brand Manager will work in close collaboration with Country Managers, Marketing Manager, National Sales Manager, Medical Manager, Field teams and Finance teams.The position is based in the London office or remotely from the UK.Essential DutiesInclude, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support development of brand strategy, and lead identified key tactical initiatives and materials from design to implementation – ensuring country teams adapt, execute and implement consistently and effectively (e.g. brand promotional materials, messages and claims, media materials, effective channel selection, digital and online programmes and materials)
- Support a strategic marketing mindset through championing our brands, sharing best practice, supporting consistency of implementation and demonstrating clarity of our Marketing strategy
- Tactical implementation – Work in close collaboration with commercial and medical teams to ensure tactics are relevant and in line with brand strategy
- Materials Approval – Ensure all materials and activities are compliant, timely and high quality, collaborating with medical and compliance teams and using approval systems effectively.
- Monitor implementation of tactical plan, reporting progress to Sr. Marketing Manager
- Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
- Support and comply with the company’s policies and procedures.

- Communication skills – Clear, concise and motivating – ability to appreciate and adapt to cultural differences.
- Creativity – Desire and ability to explore new ways of doing things – ideally with experience in implementing novel ideas
- Marketing Planning – Good understanding of the principles of Marketing strategy from situational analysis to tactical planning; ability to articulate Marketing priorities and the role of Marketing within the organization
- Marketing Channels – understanding of the different marketing channels; the role of digital, of advertising and promotion within the marketing mix
- Project Management – ability to plan, manage, implement and review marketing projects – with strong prioritization and time management skills
- Analytical Skills – ability to interpret complex data (both scientific and commercial) and draw conclusions to support marketing plans and activity
- Resourceful Team-player – a self-motivated problem solver who enjoys being part of a small and fast paced team
- Travel Requirements: 20%+ Travel.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years’ commercial experience within the healthcare sector, ideally within a commercial role within the UK or EU
- Experience of:
- Brand planning cycles within pharmaceutical or medical device businesses
- Collaborating with commercial field teams and cross-functional therapy area teams
- Working with and building relationships with HCPs and other external stakeholders
- Working knowledge of relevant codes of practice
- Knowledge of market structure and landscape within the UK and Nordics countries, knowledge of Ireland a bonus.
- Experience in working with creative agencies and other external partners to support business goals
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong team working skills within a matrix organisation
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple timelines.
- Strong attention to detail, quality-oriented with the ability to see the big picture.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of any of the Scandinavian languages would be desirable
