• A degree in Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of statutory regulations and cleanroom Building Services practices.
• Knowledge of technical systems, contract types (including Design & Build), and value engineering.
• Familiarity with procurement processes, estimating, and payment terms.
• Proven ability to manage customer relationships effectively.
• Skilled in coaching and developing team members.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to on-site challenges.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Building Services Coordinator Skills:

• Drive the “right first time” approach for technical delivery across all projects.
• Oversee M&E subcontractor performance, focusing on technical, scheduling, and commercial aspects.
• Lead technical meetings, ensuring clear communication and timely distribution of minutes.
• Monitor progress reports from M&E subcontractors and address any discrepancies.
• Ensure that installations meet quality standards, resolving defects during the build process.
• Develop and manage commissioning and handover schedules to align with contract requirements.
• Build strong working relationships with site managers and on-site teams.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges, maintaining project momentum.
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and emerging technologies, ensuring compliance and leveraging innovation to enhance project outcomes.
• Coordinate technical submissions, sample approvals, and product selection to meet project timelines.
• Manage subcontractor compliance with all Health & Safety protocols.
