daa Shared Services is an ISO 2015:9001 certified operation, employs
60 people and has responsibility for key daa Finance, Procurement, HR, Customer Service, and other administrative processes. The office is based in the National Technology Business Park, directly beside the University of Limerick.

A centralised Authorised Signatory function is being developed within daa Shared Services to support the regulated process of issuing Airport Identification Cards (AICs). The role of the Authorised Signatory is critical to maintaining safe and secure airports.

The Authorised Signatory role will be responsible for professionally executing stringent regulated processes required for the issuing and control of AICs. The role will require collaboration and reporting to both internal and external stakeholder including, but not limited to, the Central Processing Organisation (CPO), Airport ID Office, Internal and External Auditors and Regulatory Authorities. Within the AIC process, the Authorised Signatory will process new hire applications, renewals, randomised Security Clearance Checks, Audits, and other administrative duties as required.

Reporting to the Customer Operation Manager this role requires an experienced people and process leader who is very organised and motivated, with impeccable attention to detail, absolute integrity, and a proven track record as a supervisor in in a high volume, fast paced administrative operation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant supervisory experience in a high volume, fast paced administrative operation.

Responsibilities

  • Supervision of a small team with responsibility for successful execution of the authorised signatory role and other administrative duties.
  • Execute and enhance the Authorised Signatory role to deliver compliance and process efficiency.
  • Work Closely with the Continuous Improvement Team to ensure Standard Operating Procedures are maintained and include adequate internal controls and structured audits.
  • Ensure that the team are appropriately trained and cross trained to guarantee resilience and consistent delivery across all responsibilities.
  • Develop and report on key Performance Indicators and SLA adherence.
  • Develop and maintain Data Protection Impact Assessment for the Authorised Signatory Process and work with the daa Data Protection officer to ensure that all team members have received appropriate training and support to ensure compliance with GDPR and all other regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a point of escalation for team queries and external queries relating to team activities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure overall end to end Security compliance and alignment with Human Resources and other internal processes.
  • Support other administrative duties as required.
