As a Regional Manager in our Business & Agri space, you’ll play a key role in our mission to help kiwis start, buy and sustainably grow their business. You will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to a team of Senior Managers across the Provincial Southern region and embedding a strong conduct and risk culture.

Additional key responsibilities of the role will include the following:

  • Maintain and grow the regions combined market share by building and maintaining a high profile leadership presence across the region
  • Contribute to the formulation of the region’s overall growth strategy, and be part of developing and implementing business strategy and plans across NZ
  • Drive business development initiatives in the region by analysing local segments, developing a profile for marketing, contacting key influencers and generating new business opportunities
  • Lead critical initiatives across the region to deliver value to customers through the use of data and insights that facilitate improved sustainable performance and support business opportunities

Role Location: Provincial Southern Region (This role will be responsible for managing lower – mid South Island)

Role Type: Permanent, Fulltime

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • A commercially savvy mindset and proven exposure to the Business & Agri industry supported with sound expertise in finance skills. (Including previous experience approving significant credit deals)
  • Critical thinking with the ability to manage competing and complex demands and priorities, exercising sound judgement and decision making
  • Senior leadership experience in a customer-centric environment, leveraging effective relationship management and business development skills to influence teams across a large region
  • Ability to engage, network, build a brand and establish critical business relationships across Business, Agri and Commercial sectors
  • Curious, data driven decision maker with an ability to utilise key data to interpret outcomes, draw insights and confirm decisions
  • Well developed leadership ability, with proven experience of leading others through change and a track record of effective coaching and people development
  • The ability to contribute to the creation and maintenance of an inclusive workplace culture
