I am currently working with a London Market Reinsurance firm who are actively seeking an Operations focused Business Analyst to join their team. This company is part of a Global Risk Solutions and broader Insurance Group, covering all aspects of the insurance domain.This role requires an expert in Operations who will be able to competently identify areas of improvement to the existing Target Operating Model aligned with the wider strategy. You will be responsible for documenting current and future states, fostering and embedding a culture of sustained change and optimising the operations journey. A strong understanding of the data used and how Inward and/or Treaty reinsurance operates.Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the front office and support functions, you will identify and document opportunities to improve efficiency and effectively in working practices
- Support Business Architects and Consultants in defining tactical and strategic options to improve the Target Operating Model
- Leading and facilitating workshops driving creative ideas and solutions
- Identify risk and issues related to initiatives to ensure successful delivery
- Elicit requirements and drive process change through a range of techniques (interviews, document analysis, etc)
Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience working within the London Market / General Reinsurance as a Business Analyst
- Strong knowledge of inter-dependencies, relationship management and the impact of change on systems, teams and processes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability
- Strong data analysis skills
- Ability to speak French and/or German desirable
