Are you an experienced Business Analyst ?Have you worked in the UK Market Clearing or Custody environments ?Do you have a good understanding of the Software Development lifecycle ?If so I would like to hear from you as I am recruiting for a leading global financial services organisation in Glasgow who are growing the team.Its hybrid working (50/50 split) so you need to live within commuting distance of Glasgow.Role responsibilities include:
Ensuring business objectives are achieved through the development of operating models and technologies.
Representing both the business and the technology capability for UK local solutions
Facing off to internal stakeholders (local and offshore) and external stakeholders (clients, prospects, vendors/suppliers, industry groups, media).
Developing engineering capability (methodologies, staff skills, structures, systems and management disciplines) used to operate the business and clients.
Analysing existing end-to-end business processes and data-flows, as well as new business information requirements.
Defining problem areas and translating these into business requirements.
Documenting recommendations for new and improved processes and systems changes.
Liaising with internal IT teams and/or external IT vendors.
Identify, analyse and prepare risk mitigation tactics.
Quality management
Required experience should include:
Good understanding of the UK market clearing and custody environments
Experience in change management, business analysis or process development and/or consulting role
Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
Experience with large-scale organisational change efforts
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
Organised with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
Problem solving and root cause identification skills
Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
Advantageous experience:
Understanding of the Software development lifecycle
Knowledge of SWIFT, Corporate Actions, Broker Dealing or Fidessa Post trade activity
