The Business Systems Analyst leads system implementations, manages ERP and CRM platforms, and develops data-driven solutions to improve efficiency and automation. This role bridges IT and business teams, leveraging SQL, Power BI, and process mapping to optimize operations and support smarter decision-making.IT System Implementations & Administration

  • Lead and support new system implementations, upgrades, and integrations (ERP, CRM, etc.).
  • Gather system requirements from stakeholders and ensure smooth deployment.
  • Configure, test, and integrate systems with existing business applications.
  • Provide ongoing administration and troubleshooting for ERP and CRM platforms.

Data Analysis & Business Intelligence

  • Perform SQL Server data mining and analysis to generate business insights.
  • Develop Power BI dashboards and reports to support data-driven decisions.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and data processes using VBA scripting.

Process Mapping & Business Optimization

  • Document and map business processes, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement automated workflows to enhance efficiency.
  • Work with business teams to ensure system changes align with operational goals.

Technical Support & Training

  • Provide end-user training and documentation for new system implementations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, working with vendors as needed.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all business systems.

  • 3+ years of experience in business systems analysis, IT implementations, or a similar role.
  • Strong skills in SQL Server, Power BI, VBA scripting, and ERP/CRM administration.
  • A solid understanding of process mapping and workflow automation.
  • The ability to communicate technical concepts to business users.
  • A proactive, analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively across IT, business, and vendor teams.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and SuperOffice would be great, but not essential.
  • The ideal candidate will already be living within an hour’s commute of the site in Lydney.
