Description We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our team in the healthcare and social assistance industry, located in Battle Creek, Michigan. In this role, you will be tasked with providing detailed financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to aid strategic decision-making processes. You will be expected to optimize cash management, support organizational expansion, and develop financial models to provide actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to inform strategic decision-making
• Develop and maintain budgeting and forecasting models
• Perform regular budget variance analyses to ensure financial efficiency
• Develop and manage financial models and dashboards to provide actionable insights
• Support organizational expansion initiatives through financial analysis and planning
• Optimize cash management processes to improve financial efficiency
• Use Microsoft Excel and Excel Formulas for financial modeling and analysis
• Monitor and analyze monthly variances in financial performance
• Provide complex financial analysis to support strategic initiatives Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role within the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industry
• Proficiency in financial analysis, including complex financial analysis and variance analysis
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting
• Demonstrated ability to provide financial analysis and interpret financial data
• Knowledge of cost variance and monthly variance
• Proficiency in financial modeling
• Advanced skills in Excel, including proficiency in Excel formulas
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field is preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of healthcare industry standards, regulations, and trends is a plus
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and software is beneficial
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization
