What You Will Do:
GeoDecisions is currently seeking applicants interested in joining the team as a Business Analyst!!!

We are seeking motivated individuals located near our office in Camp Hill, PA; with excellent communication and analysis skills who demonstrate experience working with end users and technical teams to elicit and document the requirements and best practices needed build or configure high quality software solutions. Must thrive in a high energy environment, excel at working without significant supervision, be independently motivated, outgoing, diplomatic, detailed, schedule driven and accountable. This positon can be worked remoted within the state of PA and OH.

Responsibilities:
Work in multi-disciplinary project teams made up of software developers, business analysts, GIS analysts, technical managers, and business subject matter experts
Participate in requirements elicitation with client to define needs
Document As-Is environment and business workflows
Model business processes
Support the compilation of To-Be environment and business workflows
Participate in agile and waterfall software development lifecycles
Support training materials and support training class delivery based on varying client needs
Document meeting minutes, draft business needs assessments, and perform gap analysis
Compile user stories with the requisite details and acceptance criteria
Develop and execute test cases to confirm system requirements
Generate mock-ups, wireframes, or related graphics to illustrate requirements or workflows
Work with developers to clarify requirements throughout the application development processEducation jobsnear.org Experience:
Minimum Qualifications
4 year degree, B.A., B.S.
1-3 years’ experience functioning as a Business Analyst
Must have experience in requirement gathering
Must have experience in business operations and workflow analysis, training, technical writing and/or project life cycle documentation

Required Skills/Experience
Strong desire to learn a client’s business and to help ensure software solutions meet their needs
Passion for working with data and at least a basic understanding of data management processes
Ability to work directly with clients to gather requirements based on their needs and translate those requirements into tasks for developers
Ability to operate as a member of a project team tasked to complete scheduled deliverables for a client
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Experience with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Experience analyzing client needs and working with a team to develop solutions
Experience with configuring software to meet end user needs
Experience building test cases to confirm requirements
Experience with Tableau, PowerBI or similar tool
Experience building and maintaining a Requirements Traceability Matrix
Experience preparing and documenting a testing plan
Familiarity with GIS and/or geospatial technology
Experience with Azure DevOps and/or JIRACompany Overview:
