Business Analyst in Durham, North Carolina

Our client, Health care client, is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team.

Job Title: Business Analyst

Duration: 12 months

Location: REMOTE Must work EST time.

Pay : $30-$45/hr (years of experience )

Job Details:

BA: Knowledgeable in Healthcare, Medicare/CMS, Facets Member; minimum 5 years of BA experience and not a System (Technical) Analyst; communicates and articulates well; is organized and analytical; works well with the business for documenting business requirements.

Elicit, document, and track requirements for changes to business processes, policies, information, and information systems for intermediate-level business problems.

Develop and elicit requirements for departmental and some corporate projects as requested by internal and external customers; prepare business and functional requirements.

Communicate and validate requirements with stakeholders and identified SMEs.

Collaborate with project teams to adhere to solution scope and maintain requirement traceability.

Support and execute business readiness activities, including the communication plan to support changes to technology, processes, and people.

Develop new procedures, specifications for system changes, or recommendations for product and/or process changes. Facilitate the implementation of changes with management and staff.

Design customer feedback mechanisms to gather ongoing information about business processes. Analyze results and create plans to address weaknesses.

Develop and maintain reporting tools for use in measuring business area performance against metrics and industry benchmarks and ensuring data integrity and system stability in support of operations management.

Provide timely and accurate access to data, distribute reports, and present/explain results to the business area supported as well as to other * areas. Work with trainers to develop training programs that target problem areas.

Use industry-standard analysis techniques such as data flow modeling, use-case analysis, workflow analysis, business process mapping, functional decomposition analysis, or financial ROI modeling for initiatives that are at an intermediate level.

Support business vendor relationships by documenting business issues, determining project needs, and supporting training as needed.

Perform peer reviews of less experienced analysts’ work as needed.

The interview process consist of reviewing of resumes and teams’ interviews with other team members.

Hiring Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree (where required)

• 3+ years of experience in related field.

• In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field.
