Business Analyst in Eden Prairie, Minnesota

Robert Half is recruiting a Business Analyst for a full-time role with our Eden Prairie-based client. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week onsite in Eden Prairie, MN.

This role involves analyzing system requirements, addressing any relevant problems, ensuring adherence to the business goals, interacting with clients, and in-house technical and development teams, and ensuring optimal use of our ERP system (JDE).

Responsibilities Include:

• Analyze and assess existing business systems and procedures in relation to ERP.

• Facilitate the process of requirements gathering from business users and translate it into functional requirement specifications for IT development.

• Conduct detailed analyses of business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions.

• Assist with the design and delivery of RFP proposals, business cases, success metrics, and cost-benefit analyses.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and users across the organization to understand their needs and translate them into system requirements.

• Serve as a liaison between technical developers and end-users, ensuring communication and understanding of system changes.

• Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation on all aspects of the ERP system including, changes, upgrades, and new features.

• Assist in troubleshooting, system testing and user training.

• Contribute to the effective project planning, including the provision of accurate estimates of work effort and requirements.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• Proven experience as an ERP analyst, IT Analyst, or similar role.

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).

• Excellent skills in business and IT analysis with a capability of capturing requirements and delivering practical business solutions.

• Working knowledge of SQL and/or other query languages

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
