Business Analyst in Hayward, California

Description

We are seeking a remote Business Analyst/Project Manager. This role involves working closely with the business to understand software usage and IT needs, leading team discussions, and innovating using a variety of analytical tools. The position plays a crucial role within our team, providing an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic business environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and moderate team discussions to achieve clear outcomes.

• Collaborate with different teams to gather, document, and analyze data.

• Create and present reports and demonstrations to support recommendations and software enhancements.

• Identify and recommend system improvements based on business feedback and industry trends.

• Administer project plans, providing direct support to the project manager, project teams, and business stakeholders.

• Maintain project schedules, timelines, and budgets accurately.

• Communicate project changes or impacts to stakeholders and authorize changes to estimates.

• Maintain the project repository, including project plans, issues logs, risk assessments, change requests, and status reports.

• Work collaboratively with project leads and teams to develop a culture of Continuous Improvement.

• Possess skills in Atlassian Jira, CRM, Database, EO/IR systems, Gap Analysis, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Business Process Functions, Business Requirement Document, Claim Administration, Agile, Agile workflows, and PMP Certification.

Requirements • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira and Agile Scrum methodologies

• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems

• Proficient in database management and EO/IR systems

• Ability to perform Gap Analysis and AB Testing

• Understanding of Business Process Functions

• Experience in drafting Business Requirement Document

• Knowledge of Claim Administration processes

• Ability to work within Agile workflows

• PMP Certification is a plus
